Port Blair, Aug 24: Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, BJP – ANI along with a delegation of Mr. M Vinod, State Vice President, BJP – ANI, Mr. Jyotirmoy Bawali, State General Secretary, BJP – ANI & Mr. P Shasi Kumar, State Incharge IT Cell & Social Media Cell, BJP – ANI met Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, GOI.
Mr. Ajoy Bairagi gave a detailed representation regarding the issue of Poor Network Connectivity and need of Spare parts and necessary equipments to strengthen the present infrastructure of BSNL. He further stated that, CANI SMC needs to be extended further to Shaheed Dweep(40 KM) for better connectivity through Spur Cable.
Mr. M Vinod requested to provide network coverage at Tourism hubs like North Bay, Munda Pahad (chidyatapu) Beach, WandoorBeach etc. Whereas, Mr. Jyotirmay Bawali raised the issue of poor network connectivity in N & M Andaman which is greatly affecting the students community who are totally dependent on Video Classes for studies during present pandemic. The Minister gave a pleasant response to the delegation and assured of all possible actions at the earliest.
