Port Blair, Aug 24: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today met the Director of Transports and demanded to resume the STS Express Buses for Kadamtala, Billiground and Nimbudera.
STS Express Bus services for these regions were withdrawn during Lockdown, bringing huge problems for the general public, who are now forced to opt for private vehicles, which charges exorbitant rates.
The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands demanded to start STS Express bus services for these regions at the earliest.
The Director of Transport assured to resume the STS bus service for the above regions from 26 August 2021 during the meeting.
