Port Blair, Aug 12: In light of the emerging threats to Civil Aviation Security around the globe, including the threat of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) warfare, a special awareness cum training session was organised on 12.08.2021 by CISF Unit VSI Airport, Port Blair under the supervision of Shri. Suresh Kumaar, Asst commandant CISF. In this session a special team from National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) elaborated and trained the participants (CISF, AAI and Airline staff) on the course of action to be followed in case of any Radiological emergency so as to minimize the risks due to Radiation Exposure in the real world scenario.
