Port Blair, Aug 11: On the instructions of Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Youth Congress team led by Mr. John Robert & Mr. Elayaraja Alsu, President IYC, met the Deputy Commissioner requesting financial assistance to the victims of Guptapara Tree Falling incidents.
The Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, reportedly assured the Youth Congress delegation of immediate action.
Regarding dangerous trees the DC assured that from now there will be Camps at all villages to ensure immediate action on all dangerous trees thus avoiding lengthy wait & procedural delays.
