Port Blair, July 18: The Indian National Congress has always been advocating secularism and it is the party’s strong belief that overall development of the country is possible only with joint effort of people from every religion, caste and cadre. Sticking to the mandate of his party, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament visited various temples, Mosques and Churches in and around South Andaman.
During his visit, the parliamentarian interacted with priests of Temples, Mosques and Churches and enquired about their well-being. He assured functionaries of all possible help for the betterment and welfare of religious institutions.
As a token of respect, the parliamentarian provided ration kits to Pajari’s in temples, Maulvi in mosques and priests in churches. Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, MP was accompanied by Chief Spokesperson Shri. K. Ganeshan and other Senior leaders/workers of the party.
Starting from Sree Selva Vinayagar Temple, Haddo the parliamentarian and his team visited Sree Muthu Mariamman Temple Buniyadabad, Delanipur Majid, Phoenix Bay Tamil Majid, Murugan Temple, Dairy Farm Ganesh Temple, Dairy farm church, Airport gate, Austinabad, Mariamman Temple, Burramaiah Temple (Benadabad), Stewertgunj Majid, Bambooflat Majid Surya chakkara, Temple, Vellanganni Church, Panigat.
