Port Blair, Oct 25: Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC recorded his gratitude towards the Lt Governor for revising SNP( Supplementary Nutrition Prog) from Rs. 5/- per day to Rs 8.50/- per day for normal children and Adolescent Girls, Rs. 6/- to Rs. 10/- per day for pregnant and lactating mothers and Rs. 8/- to Rs 13.50/- per day for severely malnourished children under ICDS programme for providing supplementary Nutrition as per the revised menu vided office order No: 851 dt 8th October, 2012.
Mr Sharma has also recorded his sincere thanks to the Lt Governor for according approval of regularizing the services of 26 LMV/HMV drivers and sixty daily rated mazdoors of PBMC for which the Party President requested the Lt Governor vide his letters dt 27 08 2012 and 05 09 2012 respectively.
Earlier Mr Sharma had taken up the issue of enhancing the amount for providing supplementary Nutrition under ICDS programme for the children, girls, pregnant and lactating mothers with the Lt Governor.
