It is high time for the administration gives a free hand to the police to deal with those on road with iron hands. The situation has turned for the way worse.
GPS tracking of those moving in essential vehicles needs to be ensured so that they do not deviate from the specified route.
More importantly each vehicle should not be allowed to make more than one trip other than those involved in house to house delivery.
All essential items should be delivered at doorstep and no one should be allowed to venture out till the graph shows downward trend. Mask and gloves should be made mandatory for those venturing out even in emergency situation.
Vehicle Pass should be checked at all check points and authenticity of the route should be cross-checked to ensure that route is not deviated.
All the restrictions imposed from 24th March to 29th March should be once again put in place. Help of Aanganwadi workers should be taken to monitor the health of all the residents under their jurisdiction.
PRI members should be taken on board to maintain peace in their area. Most importantly all those involved in rescue and rehabilitation during the Tsunami should be asked to come forward to help the administration. Together we can, and we will defeat COVID-19.
