Kadamtala, March 31: After Ex- Pradhan, Kadamtala Mr. Sampad Kumar Roy approached, a resident of Kadamtala, Mr. Dhiraj Baral has voluntarily given his Tata Sumo vehicle to serve as an ambulance in the Kadamtala and nearby region during the time of this health crisis.
As per reports, due to the lockdown people staying in far-flung areas of Kadamtala had to leg it to hospital for check-ups and medicines.
When the matter came into the knowledge of Ex-Pradhan of Kadamtala Gram Panchayat he immediately took the initiative and with suggestions from BJP President, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Ajay Bairagi and BJMM President, Mrs. Sampa Banerjee, he started the services of the ambulance with the help of Mr. Dhiraj Baral.
“I have seen people walking from Phultala which is 08kms far from the hospital and hence, I decided to do this, the services of the ambulance will continue throughout the crisis period” Mr. Roy added. All prominent people of Kadamtala were present during the start of the ambulance services this morning at Kadamtala.
