Diglipur, March 10: A 13-year-old girl was reported missing from Diglipur region. As it was a case of missing of minor girl a case of kidnapping was registered at Diglipur Police Station on 07th March 2020.
Following the FIR, the SHO of PS Diglipur constituted a special team and rescued the minor girl from Bangali Basti of Baratang Island and the accused was immediately arrested.
After completion of the medical examination of the girl, it was found that the minor girl was not sexually abused. However, a case under section 367 (Kidnapping) was registered against the accused.
