Diglipur, Aug 07: Bye –Election for Gram Panchayat Member was held at R K Gram Panchayat at Diglipur on 06 August between Mr. Pratap Das, INC Candidate and Mrs Sathi Samaddar from BJP.
The INC candidate Mr. Pratap Das today filed a complaint to UTs Election Commission that Smti Sathi Das w/o Sanjay Das name was appearing from both Ward no 5 & 7.
According to Mr. Das, the Presiding Officer did not refrain her to cast her vote in spite of objection from INC. The INC candidate has also requested Election Commission to take immediate action in this matter while the votes counting will be held from 08 August.
