Port Blair, Jan 15: Department of Posts, A & N Islands Division is now acting as Registrar for Unique Identification Authority of India( UIDAI) for Aadhaar enrollment . Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav , Director Postal Services told that Port Blair Head Post Office will work as enrollment station to obtain Unique Identification Number.
Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav , Director Postal services further added that Aadhaar is a proof of Identity recognized by the Government of India . Aadhaar is not a card , but a 12 digit number that will be given to every resident including infants , elderly and even those who don’t have any identify proof . It is issued after using the latest biometric technology , every individual will get his/her own unique Aadhaar number which will be valid across the country . This number will be valid for availing various government and non – government services in future.
Aadhaar enrollment forms are available at Port Blair Head Post Office for enrollment of every individual whom have to bring photo identity proof and proof of address . Biomatric data such as Photograph , Iris scan ( both eyes ) and finger prints( 10 fingers ) will be captured and then a receipt of it will be handed over and Aadhaar number will be later on post to the addressee by Speed Post.

but my daughter Sneha Mondal (enrolement number is 1092 10016 10956 and date :
18/11/2011 17:00:28) as well as My wife Rina Mondal (enrolement number is 1092 10016
10955 18/11/2011 16:49:37) has not yet received the Adhaar card when checked online it
shows a message YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN REJECTED REASON CODE: PKT_RDEMO_HOF_REJECTED
please try to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

aadhar not resveed my enrolment no 1092/10018/01466 date 18/08/2011 time 10;56;38 and my mother enrolment no 1092/10004/06814 date 18/08/2011 time 10;55;31 one and of year
Aadhar of my son Abbhishek Prasad not received till date. ( enrollment no N 92/10029/06150 dated 29.12.2011 time 10.49 hrs ) Pl. help me to get the same.
