Diglipur, Nov 30: The first ever Smart Class was inaugurated today in Diglipur Sub Division at Govt Model Senior Secondary School, Sitanagar Diglipur . The inauguration was done by Pradhan Sitanagar Gram Panchayat Ms. Bulbul Mistry.
Under the CSR grant The Smart Class materials including White Interactive board, Overhead projector, Computer and accesaries including complete e-learning kits are installed by the assistance of ANIIDCO Speaking on this occasion she said that the objective is to increase the mobility of students toward educational progress and to deal with the challenges around the state and the country in the advance phenomena.
Smart class will provide students with the facility for easy assimilation and an enriching experience of the promulgated curriculum. it would not help the school but also the students in particular.” “It’s a blessing for the student which would lift them up the education in the students in the area with these types of education which is so unique in its own way” She added.
Speaking to Andaman Sheekha the Principal of the school Shri Ashol Kumar Tiwari said,” “the purpose of smart class in the school is to provide all the students with better and additional knowledge which would brings about a complete transformation in classrooms” Adding to it he said “we want the students in the Sitanagar village to have equal and similar sharing of knowledge like that of students in the mainland cities. It would give bigger exposure about the changing phenomena and help them to face the challenges with confidence”.
Presently about 480 students studying in the Model school from class 6 to 12. Sooner Govt Primary school Sumati Vidya Mandir, Sitanagar school children also included for the smart class teaching. After the inauguration a colourful cultural programme was presented by the students of the school.
