Diglipur, Nov 17: Under Bal Swachchta Abhiyan, various types of awareness programs are being conducted in the schools. The campaign started on Children’s Day, 14th Nov.
At Diglipur Senior Secondary School, cleanliness drive was conducted by the students, under the supervision of the Principal Shri V.T. Reddy. The students brought out a rally spreading the message of Cleanliness among the people.
A Seminar was held yesterday explaining the importance of hygiene. The teachers called upon the students to take part in the Swachchta Bharat Abhiyan actively in their villages.
Later the students were taken batch wise to the home science lab where they were explained how the good hygienic food is prepared. Every day such programmes are being conducted.
