Port Blair, Sept 01: It has been learnt from sources that the Lt. Governor has directed the authorities to re-look into the whole issue of Sports in Andaman and Nicobar Islands following various complaints and allegations against various sports association and State Sports Council. It has been also learnt that the General Secretary of ANSOA is about to face some inquiry very soon for his role in the Olympic Association.
Meanwhile, public demands that the newly appointed Chairman of ANSOA, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, who is also the Member of Parliament, should take the total control of Andaman & Nicobar State Olympic Association in his hands so that the faith of public on ANSOA is restored. Infact today the Member of Parliament who is a popular public leader in Andaman is believed to be the best choice to run the ANSOA for the benefit of local youths.
