Port Blair, Sept. 01:As part of celebration of International Literacy Day, the Adult Education Cell, Shiksha Sadan will organize essay competition (in Hindi/English in 300 words) on Sept. 4 at 10 am at Shiksha Sadan. The topic for junior group (class VI to VIII) will be ‘role of literacy in the empowerment of girl child’ while the topic for senior group (class IX-XII) is ‘literacy a means to reduce global warming-elaborate’.
For participating in the competition, a school can sent two students in each group. The students should report to Smt. Shaheeda Shamshad, Junior Hindi Translator, Adult Education Cell, Shiksha Sadan, a communication received here said.
