Port Blair, Aug 1: The Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidhyalaya here shall prepare a panel of resource persons to deliver lectures as Guest Faculty in JNRM and ANCOL on as and when required basis during the academic year 2014-15 in the following discipline viz. English, Hindi, B.Com, B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship), BBA, BBA (Tourism & Travel Mgt), Bengali, Chemistry, Plant Science, Computer Science, History, Political Science, Physics, Environmental Studies, Economics, Physical Education, Zoology, Home Science, Mathematics, Tamil and Telugu.
The guest faculty shall be paid @ Rs. 1000/- per lecture (2 Hrs.) to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month. The assignment is purely on temporary basis depending upon the availability of the teaching load in the concerned subject.
The engagement of guest faculty will be in accordance with the Recruitment Rules/UGC guidelines in force. Candidates possessing good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master Degree level having Ph.D degree/NET/SLET shall be preferred. In case of non availability of NET/SLET qualified candidate, Candidates with Ph.D., M.Phil degree or having required percentage of marks in PG shall be considered.
Interested candidates can attend walk in interview in the chamber of the Principal, JNRM at 10 am on Aug 7 & 8, 2014 as per schedule displayed on the college notice board. Candidates have been asked to report alongwith all original certificates and resume mentioning qualification and experience. Those who have worked as a guest faculty in JNRM in the session 2014-15 are also required to submit fresh application, a communication received here said.
