Port Blair, Apr 24: On April 04 Andaman Sheekha reported about a massive forest fire in Sentinel Island. Andaman Sheekha had reported that the fire that had appeared in North Sentinel Island was seen spread over an area of 900+ acres through Satellite Images.
One of the experts of MH370 search team, David Manthos, of Skyview.com had earlier reported about this fire to Andaman Sheekha.
Following this report the Administration seems to have conducted three aerial surveys of North Sentinel Island and the teams could locate some tribes in good health.
Sources told Andaman Sheekha that on 5th April, one day after publication of the report, the Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lt. Gen (Retd.) A K Singh, himself made an aerial survey of North Sentinel Island by helicopter, which shows, how prompt our present Lt. Governor is.
The report is silent on the reported fire, could the survey team spot any fire in the islands.
