Port Blair, Nov 07: It seems that the entire Administration has geared up to fight against corruption. Recently the Anti-Corruption unit worked out series of trap cases and now the Lt. Governor has indicated that there would be zero tolerance towards corruption in these Islands. In a recent post in micro-blogging site twitter, the Lt. Governor today said that “The Chief Vigilance Officer n the Anti Corruption Dept have been given very clear instrs,, we expect them to take serious steps to prevent.”
Though the tweet looks incomplete but the message is loud and clear that corruption will not be tolerated anymore in these Islands. Hope soon more and more corrupt officials will be booked by the Administration and public money will be utilized only for the development and welfare of these Islands.
