Port Blair, Sept 29: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Port Blair in co-ordination with Dweep Youth Club Port Blair celebrated Hindi Fortnight from 14th September to 28th September 2013, during the fortnight many competition like Rajbhaja Gosti, Essay Competition, Debate, Discussion and Kavi Sammelan were orgsanised .
Yesterday the fortnight programme concluded with Kavi ‘Sammelan and prize distribution, Mr. Ram Prasad, Chief Editor of Dweep Samachar was the Chief Guest of the occasion, Mr. Kundan Lal District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Port Blair given the welcome speech, Mr. Jay Nair and Biju Nair spoke on carrier through learning Hindi and motivated the use to learn simple Hindi language for the betterment of the life. Kumari Affsana Samim, Mr, Ravi Kumar and Neerej Baidya (National Youth Awardee) presented their poems. Mr. Ram Prasad said in his brief speech that youths should learn hindi with other language to get jobs, he emphises to take bath Swami Vivekananda to developed our nation, he distributed prizes to the wiiners of long fortnight programme.
During the fortnight programme Bharat Youth Club, Garcharmma –II and victory Youth club, Lall Bijen, Dairy farm and Dweep Youth club, Port Blair actively participated in this programme, vote of thanks proposed by Smti Putul Rani Bepari, Accountant, Nerhru Yuva Kendra, Port Blair
