Port Blair, July 22: The Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lt. Gen (Retd.) A K Singh has recently tweeted that he is ordering audit of Mid-Day meal scheme. “Am ordering an audit of the mid day meal scheme, though am told the islands do it pretty well,” said the Lt. Governor in his recent tweet in the micro blogging social networking site twitter.
The tweet feed was posted on 17th July 2013 one day after the incident of Bihar mid-day meal tragedy, in which nearly 22 students had died after consuming Mid-Day meal.

The new Lt. Governor of A & N Islands tweets with an ID of @AK7CAV. However after 19 July 2013, he has posted no updates in Twitter.
