Billiground, Feb. 15: A Special Outreach Medical Camp was successfully organized by PHC Billiground at Curtburt Bay, one of the most remote and outer areas under its jurisdiction yesterday. The camp witnessed the participation of 42 villagers who availed various healthcare services provided by the medical team. The primary objective of the camp was to ensure that quality healthcare services reach people living in remote and hard-to-access areas.
NCD screening, Hb testing and TB screening were conducted during the camp. Awareness on Leprosy and Tuberculosis (TB), along with demonstration of CPR and general first aid management for snake bites and other injuries, was delivered by Dr. S. Triveni Manju, GDMO (Ayurveda), PHC Billiground. Ayurveda consultation services were also provided to the villagers. Medicines for general ailments were distributed to the beneficiaries.
