Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 13: NIPUN Mela, an initiative to recognize the importance of making learning visible and accessible to the broader community was organised on 13.02.2026 at G.S.S.S. Rangachang. The event was inaugurated by Mr. S Boominathan, Up Adyaksha, Zilla Parishad, S/Andaman, as chief guest, accompanied by Mr. J. D Pushparaj, Vice Principal, Mr. Job, Vice Principal, & Mr. V Kumar, Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Beodnabad.
The Mela primarily focused on the students’ achievements by showcasing the entire educational Eco System that highlight the innovative Learning Teaching Materials (LTMs) developed & adapted to suit the local contexts, creative pedagogical approaches & evidence-based strategies to improve the FLN outcomes.
The programme included students’ exhibitions, learning activities, cultural performances and stalls highlighting the Foundational Literacy & Numeracy which actively involved the parents and communities to address the persistent challenge of disconnection between home and school learning environment.
The programme was a grand success.
