Port Blair, Sep 08: This is for the information of commuters/general public/tourist that due to prevailing adverse weather conditions/strong wind operation of vessels is becoming difficult and considered unsafe. This Directorate keeping in view the safety of the passengers and the vessel may be forced to suspend or cancel the Inter Island/Foreshore Sector vessels at short notice. Similarly, operation of Harbour/Vehicle ferry services between Chatham, Bambooflat, Dundas Point, Hopetown & Phoenix Bay and out stations may also get disrupted/suspended in short notice depending upon the weather condition.
