Port Blair, Jan 3: A seminar on Memorizing and life style changes was held at Dr. BR. Ambedkar municipal auditorium with the objectives to inform people of some straightforward and practical life style changes which can lead to reversal of the disease and lead towards living a long healthy disease free life, recall quickly and avoid mistakes in examination, mind controlling techniques, overcome examination phobia, improve the power of concentration, etc.
The seminar was divided into five sessions, started from 10 am to 7pm in which Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury; two times Guinness World record holder was the resource person.
Earlier, a press conference was addressed by Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury on Saturday evening.
“I strongly believe that human brain can achieve anything.” said Dr. Biswaroop while addressing the press conference.
He urged public to visualise things to remember them as visualisation power of human being is much stronger than audio recalling power.
Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury was born in 1977 and was diagnosed with hole in his heart and at that time doctor referred an open heart surgery. Doctor told not to undergo any rigorous activity or hard work to that boy, because of the weak heart. By using some mind techniques, he registered in Guinness World Records and holds two world records, one by doing maximum number of push – ups i.e. 198 push – ups in 1 minute, beating Canadian bodybuilder’s record of 138 pushups in 1 minute and another world record for memory beating Germany’s Michaela Buchvaldova’s memory record.
Further, He has written more than 25 books on memory and an inventor of Memory Lab, Neurobic Machine, Mnemonic Pen, Happiness Machine and Animated Cosmic Energy Card (ACEC). He is also a producer of world’s first memory movie “Yaad Rakhenge Aap” and Editor in chief of “Asia Book of Records” apart from 24 other books, which are translated in more thanl8 languages including Hindi, English, Marathi, Nepali, Bengali and Telugu.
Mr Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury is a production Engineer from Punjab Engineering College.
