Port Blair, Aug 18: As the drug abuse have surged in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Hope Foundation NGO took a step towards the awareness of drugs in school students. The Hope Foundation NGO organized an awareness program at Govt Sr Sec School, School line in the presence of Inspector Mr. S Kannan, Narcotic Bureau and Dr Rajiv Ghosh from Health Department. The program was held with 200 students. Inspector, Narcotic Bureau sensitized the students about the danger of drugs and laws. Dr Rajiv Ghosh informed some harmful effects of drugs on organs and the human body through power point presentation.
