Port Blair, Mar 04: Ahead of the Municipal Election Polls in the A&N Islands, top leaders of the Congress are addressing back-to-back campaigns in the Islands. According to sources,
Congress has started the aggressive campaign four days back and now the party has decided to go full throttle.
On 03rd March 2022, ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker along with other senior leaders of Congress held door-to-door campaigns, roadshows and addressed small public meetings in Ward no. 2, Ward no. 10 and Ward no. 14 of the Port Blair Municipal Council where they asked people to vote the Congress back to power.
The Congress’s star campaigners blazed through three Municipal segments with back-to-back rallies. The aim was to build stronger contact at the grass-root level and listen to the public grievances.
During the campaign, hundreds of people were seen campaigning in support of Congress candidates.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bhasker said that Congress and DMK Alliance will win all the 24 wards in the Port Blair Municipal Council election because we have done lots of work in the last five years in the entire Port Blair, especially during COVID-19 & Lockdown period.
“Our party is quite confident that the candidates will show a good result in the upcoming Municipal polls and our party will form the Municipal Council,” Mr. Bhasker asserted.
