Diglipur, Feb. 23: Activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Diglipur Branch held a peaceful procession in Diglipur in the evening today in the memory of Harsha a Bajrang Dal worker who was allegedly murdered in Shivamogga on Sunday.
The procession started from Netaji Statue, Diglipur, marched to the present Vegetable Market and then further proceeded to Syndicate Bank, at Madhupur Road and returned back to Netaji Statue. While marching in the procession, the VHP, Diglipur activists chanted slogans seeking justice for the youth of Bajrang Dal activist who was allegedly murdered by some radical group in Karnataka.
After returning, Netaji’s Statue was garlanded by a veteran VHP activist Shri Sukharanjan Samajpati who then garlanded the photo of Harsha as well. Then two minutes silence was also observed for the departed soul of the youth of Shivamogga. Shri Samajpati also spoke a few words on this heinous incident, a VHP, Diglipur source said.
