Port Blair, Feb 08: All the stakeholders of the tourism industry of A&N Islands thanked Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State for Culture & Tourism, GoI, Lieutenant Governor of A&N Islands and the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration for re-opening the tourist places and allowing the tourism activities to resume by lifting all the restrictions.
Earlier, a Joint Committee of Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Grain Dealers Association, Hoteliers Association A&N Islands, Andaman Association of Tour Operators, Ship Owners Association, Youth Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Boat Owners Association, Andaman Bar Owner Association, FOATO and Laghu Udyog Bharati had met Mr. Satya Kumar, National Secretary of the Bharatiya a Janta Party on 6th February 2022 and apprised the difficulties faced by the stakeholders due to the lockdown and closure of tourist places.
ACCI thanked the A & N Administration for re-opening the tourist places and allowing tourism activities to resume in these Islands. They also mentioned that this will help all tourism stakeholders to earn their livelihood.
