Port Blair, Nov 12: Kumari. Shiva Yogetha, daughter of Mr Shiva Kumar and Smt Rathika, achieved the World Record for being the “Fastest To Recite Backward 100 To 1 Counting” on August 19, 2021.
Kumari. Shiva Yogetha is a resident of Shorepoint, Bambooflat from Andaman & Nicobar Island, India. She recited 100 to 1 backward counting in 51 seconds and broke the previous record of reciting backward numbers in 1 minute 29 seconds and set a new world record for the International Book of Records.
Mr Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate, South Andaman felicitated the young talent who was born on 20th March 2017 and achieved the feat at the age of four years and six month old and is a student of KG-I of Carmel Pre-Primary School, Port Blair. She has a very keen interest in reading and is very good at memorizing and will be a motivation for the children of these Islands for achieving heights in different fields.
The District Administration always encourages and motivates such young talents and extends all possible support for their overall development, a release said.
