Port Blair, Oct 28: As part of nationwide ‘Clean India’ program, cadets of Naval NCC Unit are participating in a wide spectrum of activities to create awareness and to stop the use of single use plastic in the Islands. The cadets conducted awareness drive and statue cleaning at Gandhi Park on 25 Oct and participated in cleanship drive of Community Hall at Junglighat on Tuesday under the supervision of ANOs and PI Staff of the Unit.
45 NCC Cadets participated in events with zeal and enthusiasm holding self made banners related to the perils of plastic. All COVID 19 protocols were followed during the conduct of the events.
