My warm greetings and best wishes to all the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October.
Mahatma Gandhi was a great ‘Yug Purush’ who believed in peace and harmony. Not accepting apartheid and caste distinction, he believed that human life should be simple and self-supporting. Taking inspiration from the great thoughts of Gandhiji, we can further strengthen the spirit of love and brotherhood between the people of islands
I appeal to the Islanders to strictly follow COVID-19 guidelines and COVID appropriate behaviour and get vaccinated on time for ensuring good health of self and family members.
On this occasion, I wish that the lives of our peace loving Islanders be filled with happiness and prosperity and our Islands move ahead continuously on the path of progress.
