Port Blair, Oct 01: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Island, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today requested the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration to urgently schedule a ferry for Little Andaman as he has been informed that nearly 1000 people from Little Andaman are stranded at Port Blair for non-availability of any ferry for Hut Bay.
In his letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament mentioned that these people have visited Port Blair for various reasons viz office works, medical checkups, other official works but now they are stranded at Port Blair but presently they are incurring financial loss for boarding and lodging for every single day.
