Port Blair, Sept 28: INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) conducts national level competitions every year. An essay and illustrations competition on Nature in Danger was held last year.
Inspite of the pandemic Kendriya Vidyalaya II not only participated but also bagged the Regional Winner Award. M. Neshitha of Class VIII was declared the Regional Winner from amongst nearly 15000 participants from across the country.
A trophy was awarded to her by Convenor INTACH A and N Chapter, Ms. Samhita Veda Acharya and Shri. Abhijit Agarwal, Member INTACH, in the presence of Shri Vijay Kumar, Principal KV II.
Certificates of Appreciation and INTACH Newsletters were also given to the 12 other participants. INTACH A and N Chapter expressed gratitude to the School and Principal in particular for their participation.
