Port Blair, Sept 28: World Rabies Day was celebrated today at Harinagar village. On this occasion Dr. Sunita Roy, Senior Veterinary officer was the Chief Guest. Dr. Roy during the program addressed the gathering and highlighted about government’s Rabies vaccination programme.
She further urged the gathering to extend their support to the Rabies vaccination program and make the A&N Is totally free from Rabies infection amongst the animals.
During the program nearly 15 animals were administered Rabies vaccines.
Mr. Subhash Bairagi, Mr. Florence and other veterinary staffs played a vital role to vaccinate 15 dogs.
