Port Blair, Sep 19: A vaccination Drive was organised by True Vision Foundation (NGO) & Maha Sagar Fisheries Co-operative Society in association with District Administration, South Andaman at Netaji Club, Port Blair, and South Andaman District on Saturday 19th September 2021.
The vaccination drive was conducted under the leadership of Mrs. Tabassum Nisha Ali, President (TVF), Mr. S U Maheshwar Rao, Secretary (MSFCS Ltd) and In the Presence of Deputy Commissioner Mr. Sunil Anchipaka, SDM, DC, Mr. Hari Kallikkat and Mrs. Yashaswini (AC) and Mr. B Nagendra District program manager, DHS the drive began and Mr. Ajay Bairagi, President BJP, ANI also visited the vaccination drive.
A total of 236 people got vaccinated today at Netaji Club. Later the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Anchipaka addressed the people and said that “Vaccine is the only weapon to fight against Corona Virus so everyone should take their Vaccination, everyone should follow CAB strictly”, he added. He appreciated the work done by frontline workers, health care workers and the NGOs.
TVF and MSFCS have sincerely expressed their gratitude towards District Administration, Health Care workers and Police Staff for their efforts to make this vaccination drive a success.
