Port Blair, Sept 07: Yesterday evening a missing report was lodged in Police Station Bambooflat. As per information yesterday morning a man namely Mr. S. Dilli Rao, 32 years, a private driver and a resident of Bambooflat went out to meet his friends and later with friends they went to Pump House near Suryachakra Power house sea shore area.
As per details, for unknown reasons he fell into sea from the pump house and went missing. Immediately his friends gave this information to his family members and began search for him but they could not trace him. Later family members lodged missing report in Bambooflat Police Station.
Immediately a special team was formed with PMF, Police Diving team and villagers. The team soon started search operation near the accident site and continued the search.
Later today at around 01:00 PM dead body of Mr. S Dilli Rao was found near coastal area. Soon police team recovered the body and shifted the body to Bambooflat Hospital. Further details are awaited.
