Port Blair, Sept 05: A crocodile was reportedly sighted in the creek areas of Joda Kilan near the temple of Goddess Kali on last Friday, 03 September 2021.
As per report the crocodile was sighted by local villagers, who later inform this matter to authorities.
After getting information a team of Wildlife Division reached Joda Kilan area and inspected the area. Later a Crocodile Trap Cage was installed in creek area and instructed nearby villagers not to enter in the creek area for fishing and other proposes. As per report regular patrolling is being carried out by wildlife division staff of Forest Department in the area.
