Port Blair, Aug 29: Bharatiya Janata Party, A & N Islands through Seva Hi Sanghathan – II initiative in the leadership of Shri Vishal Jolly, Former State President BJP A & N Islands and Home Ministry Advisory Committee, GoI, organized two special vaccination camp to inoculate COVID vaccine to a larger population in a short period to break the transmission chain of the COVID19, at Netaji Club, Aberdeen Bazar and Community Hall Ograbraj on 28th August, 2021 with the cooperation of Health Department, A&N Administration. During the vaccination camp the senior leaders & office bearers of BJP-A & N Islands were present.
On Saturday’s camp altogether, 792 persons received the COVISHEILD vaccine at their door step.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Jolly said that the free of cost vaccine are the biggest boon against the pandemic which has been made possible by Modi Govt. and Vaccination drive through SEVA HI SANGATHAN has received encouraging response from the people. The number of camp is being increased to meet the demand for the vaccine.
Earlier, people were shying away from receiving the jab, but now with vaccine being administered near their homes, they welcomed the move and coming out in large numbers, after seeing each other to get themselves vaccinated, Jolly added.
