Port Blair, Aug 27: Col Jarnail Singh, Group Commander, Madras ‘A’, will be arriving Port Blair on 28 Aug 21 to inspect NCC Units (Army and Navy) in these Islands. His three days visit will include review of NCC training in these Islands. He will be briefed in details, regarding various NCC activities by the cadets in these islands, constraints encountered and achievements of cadets in these islands, by Commanding Officers of both Army & Navy NCC Units.
He will also explore the feasibility of provisioning firing and Rowing Simulators at Port Blair. He will also interact with Cadets, ANOs (Associate NCC Officer), CTs (Care Takers) and PI (Permanent Instructor) staff regarding NCC training issues. His visit is likely to mark a way for motivating maximum number of students to enroll as NCC cadets in their educational Institutes. He is likely to return back to Chennai on 31 Aug 2021.
