Port Blair, Aug 16: To commemorate 75 years of Independence (Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav), virtual celebrations were carried out by Coast Guard Kindergarten, Port Blair. The event commenced with live streaming of Flag hoisting and address by Officer-In-Charge, CGKG in school premises. This was followed by performances of students being live streamed who with great vigour, danced to the tunes of patriotism and recited patriotic poems.
The synchronized display by tiny-tots of Kindergarten despite being at respective residences was noteworthy and well applauded by all connected via virtual mode. There were also pre-recorded performances by students of play group and nursery which were merged with live streamed sessions into one video and uploaded on virtual media.
This innovative concept of virtual celebration could tide over the limitations due to ongoing pandemic, to instill inspiration among the tiny tots and reach out to large audiences including students, parents, general public and beyond.
The event concluded with singing of National anthem by all present physically and virtually with passion and enthusiasm marking successful culmination of the celebrations.
