Port Blair, Jul 11: Dr. P K Mandal, State General Secretary, BJP Kisan Morcha, A & N Islands has urged the Humphrey strait creek bridge (Kadamtala) to be named after Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, former Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
In a letter addressed to Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India Dr. Mandal said that the role of Ex-MP Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray towards the development of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is incredible.
Dr. Mandal said that because of hard work of Mr. Ray, the former Member of Parliament this project could be started in Andaman.
The State General Secretary of BJP Kisan Morcha further pointed out that the work of above mentioned two bridges is progressing fast and out of those two bridges, the work of bridge located at Kadamtala is almost complete, and according to the information, this Kadamtala Bridge is likely to be inaugurated very soon.
