Port Blair, July 6: Mr Vinay Kumar Jindal, Director RD/PRI visited Bambooflat and Wimberlygunj area on 3rd July 2021. Miss V. K.Mariyam Bibi, ex -Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad, South Andaman was also present. During his visit, Mariyam Bibi requested for construction of children’s park at Bambooflat area. She also requested for fixing tiles in the stretch of footpath from Stewart Gunj to Wimberlygunj around the submerged land sides so that the area get facelift and people can go for walk or sit over the benches and view the nature’s beauty. She also requested to renovate/repair & maintenance of the Wimberlygunj children’s park so that it can be used by the children’s of that area. Director RD/PRI assured that he will discuss about these proposals with the senior officials and will positively do the needful for the development of the rural area.
