Port Blair, June 28: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has written a letter to the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration demanding postponement of the upcoming University Examination. The new schedule of Examinations as notified by Pondicherry University is from first week of July that is 5th July 2021.
ABVP in its letter expressed that now just after the Second Wave of COVID-19, neither the Students and nor the colleges are prepared for the examination. ABVP also mentioned the problems of restricted movement in inter Island sector is also an issue. Moreover the letter also refers to the recent decision of The Supreme Court of India on cancelation of the CBSE Board Examinations. On the basis of which ABVP demanded postponement of Examinations in A&N Islands.
