Port Blair, Jan 30: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, INTUC, in a letter addressed to Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration has invited attention of the Administration toward the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India vide its Office Memorandum No. 490I l/31/2008-Estt.(C) dated 23rd January,2012 and requested him to expeditiously extend the benefit of the scale of pay of Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20200/- with the grade pay of Rs.1800/- to all present and erstwhile Casual Labourers with temporary status retrospectively from 01.01.2006.
