Port Blair, May 28: Altogether 58 Islanders, who were stranded at Port Blair for various reasons since past few weeks, today safely reached to Shaheed Dweep in a ferry. After reaching Shaheed Dweep the Islanders called Andaman Sheekha Daily and expressed their gratitude towards Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman for sending a ferry for them to reach their Island, after weather conditions improved.
Earlier, when they had approached DC Office, the Deputy Commissioner had assured them to arranged their journey back to Shaheed Dweep after improvement of Cyclonic Weather conditions and today the promise was kept, which brought a huge relief for these Islanders.
