Campbell Bay, May 16: Fines of Rs. 10,000 have been imposed on four people of Great Nicobar for violating COVID-19 protocols. According to reports these people Mr G. Venkat Rao Ex-Up Pramukh Panchayat Samity Govind Nagar, Mrs. Rosiliya Kulu Ex-Pradhan Govind Nagar, Mr Chalpat Rao Ex-Up Pardhan Govind Nagar and Mr G. Koteshwar Rao were involved in an encroachment eviction case recently. The eviction was allegedly carried out without the knowledge of Administration.
“They also filed a bond of Rs 10000 for not repeating their mistake for next 6 months under Section 151 of CRPC,” sources said.
However the complaints are not satisfied with this action against the accused people and have told Andaman Sheekha Daily that they will knock the doors of court for seeking justice.
