Port Blair, Apr 23: UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights (UTCPCR) is a Statutory Body functioning in the Islands with a mandate to Safeguard Child Rights, examine the measures provided for the Welfare and Protection of Child and enquire into complaints and take notice of matters related to deprivation and violation Child Rights.
Smti. Sampa Banerjee Member, along with the staff of UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights inspected AKASH INSTITUTE, Junglighat, Port Blair & EQUALSIGN Coaching centre, Middle Point, Port Blair to ascertain on ground compliance regarding care, protection and COVID safety modalities of the students studying in institutions.
During the inspection few negligence regarding the protocol of COVID – 19 were found. In this regard Smti. Sampa Banerjee, as a Member of UTCPCR has suggested the following few precautions of COVID-19.
1. Curtail the strength up to 50% in each batch.
2. Suggested the Home Remedies to protect themselves from COVID-19 infection.
