Port Blair, Aug 21: Andaman Mopla Service Organization (AMSO) congratulated Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS on taking over as the Deputy Commissioner of the South Andaman district. The assumption of charges during this crucial pandemic period and uncontrolled explosion of COVID cases in the district is seen with great hope and expectation by the Islanders.
Taking over the charges, series of actions were initiated by Mr. Suneel Anchipaka i.e. Placing of Ambulances on Stand-by in Containment Zones, personally monitoring the 1070 Call Centre Assistance, equipping the District with additional COVID care facilities, large scale undertaking of Dis-infectment drives in COVID affected zones, management of COVID protocols in market places, mobilization of all grass root functionaries and CORONA Warriors for their proactive discharge of duties is much appreciated by one and all in the Islands.
“AMSO would like to wish him all the best in his endeavours and initiatives and earnestly hopes that all these steps would trigger in the control of COVID-19 spread and minimise the casualties. AMSO would like to assure all possible assistance and support in whatever possible manner to the District Administration during this hour of crisis,” a release from Abdul Siddique, General Secretary, Andaman Mopla Service Organization said here today.
