Port Blair, Aug 20: An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 was reported near Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Thursday morning, according to India’s National Center for Seismology.
As per details, the epicenter of the earthquake was 222 km south (S) of Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar islands, India, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 2:23 AM IST at a depth of 10 km from the surface.
