Port Blair, July 07: Continuing in the path for serving every islanders who is in need , the Team of Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi at this pandemic time where immunity matters for each and every person, distributed Health kits consisting 1 kg Bounvita, 200 ml Sanitiser, cookies, biscuits and chocolate to each kid residing at Bethney Child care – Bathubasti , Calvary Children Home- Badmashpahad and Love Children’s Home- Indra Nagar, Manglutan. In total around 110 kits were distributed on 19th June 2020.
A sweet request while distributing came from Love congratulations Home Kids that they have to travel 5 km till Garacharma to get a photocopy and don’t have much to do locked up in the premises.
Responding to the request the President Mandeep Grewal immediately promised to provide them a Copier Machine and 4 Bicycles within 2 weeks.
A branded Copier Machine and 4 nos new BSA cycles were handed over to the kids on 2nd July 2020.
The kids as a return gift gave a shawl and a very well hand crafted greeting card & showpiece to the President Mandeep Grewal of the society.
With a goal of no one in the islands sleeps without a meal, the work will continue to serve the islanders.
Many more projects are in pipeline and will be executed with the coming time.
